Itinerary

Start anticipating your African adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.

This safari beings and ends at Lusaka International Airport.

DAY 1 & 2: SOUTH LUANGWA - NKWALI CAMP

Fly from Lusaka International Airport to Mfuwe Airport, where you will be met and driven to Nkwali Camp.

Spend two nights in a twin bedded bamboo and thatch chalet overlooking a wide bend of the Luangwa River at Nkwali Camp.  Accommodation is on a full board basis, including afternoon and evening game drives and walks.

DAY 3, 4 & 5: SOUTH LUANGWA - TENA TENA

Enjoy a leisurely morning game drive to the Luangwa River, where a banana boat will take you across the river to Tena Tena.

Spend three nights in a twin-bedded custom-made tent sheltered in a grove of mahogany trees at Tena Tena.  Accommodation is on a full board basis, including scheduled game adventures. The emphasis at Tena Tena is on flexibility and great game viewing. There are daily walks in the bush, game drives and all-day drives with bush picnics.

If you prefer, you may spend your last two nights in a rondavel set on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River at Nsefu Camp, which is 12 kilometres north of Tena Tena.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE

Take a final game drive through the Park before returning to Mfuwe Airport for your scheduled flight to Lusaka International Airport.

Domestic departure tax of USD8.00 per person ex Lusaka Airport - to be settled direct.

International flights to and from Lusaka.

USD25.00 per person airport tax to be settled direct on departure from Zambia.

Tena Tena is closed 01 November - 21 May and Nsefu is closed 01 November - 22 January & 01 April - 21 May.
