This luxury safari takes in the highlights of Tanzania, from the dramatic landscape of Lake Manyara to the endless plains of the Serengeti and the magnificent views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Watch out for the famous tree climbing lions and admire endless flocks of flamingos on the shores of Lake Manyara.
Discover the abundant resident wildlife of the Serengeti or experience the massed game of the annual Great Migration, with its thundering hordes of zebra and wildebeest. Marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the world’s largest intact caldera at the Ngorongoro Crater and experience the incredible density of animals on the Crater floor.
Itinerary
Start anticipating your African adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.
This safari begins and ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
DAY 1: ARUSHA
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport a member of the team will drive you to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you will spend one night in a chalet. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 2 & 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Arusha Airport for a flight to Manyara Airstrip. A vehicle from Lake Manyara Tree Lodge will be waiting to take you to the Lodge, where you will enjoy two nights in a stilted tree house. Your stay is on a full board basis, including twice daily game drives and park fees.
DAY 4 - 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Return to the airstrip for a flight to Grumeti, Klein's or Serengeti Under Canvas Airstrip. From the airstrip, a short game drive will take you to the camp of your choice.
Spend three nights at your choice of the following:
- A thatched stone cottage at Klein's Camp. Adventures include twice-daily game drives and nature walks on the Klein's Camp private concession.
- A flamboyant tent at Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. Your stay is on a full board basis, including twice-daily game drives and park fees.
- A luxury tent at a remote campsite at Serengeti Under Canvas. Your stay is on a full board basis, including twice-daily game drives and park fees.
DAY 7 & 8: NGORONGORO CRATER
Your flight to Manyara Airstrip is waiting at the airstrip. Enjoy a scenic two-hour drive on your way to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. For the next two nights, take in some of the most spectacular views on the African continent. Your stay is on a full board basis, including one game drive on the Crater floor per day, as well as park fees.
DAY 9: ARUSHA
Return to Manyara Airstrip for a flight to Arusha Airport. From there, you will be chauffeured to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your safari will end.
The perfect way to end this itinerary is to add on a few nights at Mnemba Island Lodge at a cost of USD 1 250 per person per night sharing, excluding flights and transfers to and from Zanzibar Airport.

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Klein’s Camp are closed from 01 April to 30 April.
No single room supplement applicable for the first two single rooms booked at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Klein’s Camp, thereafter a single supplement applies.
Single supplement at Serengeti Under Canvas is applicable regardless of the number of single rooms booked.
Please note: Due to the increasing global cost of oil, fuel levies on scheduled and private flights as well as road transfers, may increase at any given moment. As this is not a lodge charge, this cost will unfortunately be passed onto you.
