Itinerary
Start anticipating your African adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.
Day 1 -5
Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, a member of the team will be waiting to help you through baggage claim and assist you on board your scheduled charter flight to Ngala Private Game Reserve.
You will spend the next four nights in a luxury tent at Ngala Tented Camp on a fully inclusive basis (three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, nature walks accompanied by experience trackers, subject to availability, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry and VAT).
Discover one of the richest wildlife regions in Africa as you embark on exhilarating game drives and interpretive walking safaris, accompanied by a specialist ranger and tracker. You will track rhino on foot, savor mouthwatering menus in a variety of intimate settings and enjoy superlative accommodation in spectacular surroundings. Your adventure also include an unforgettable helicopter flight over the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon, as well as a memorable sleep out option in the middle of the African bush.
You will be collected at the Cape Grace hotel, and chauffeured to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.
DAY 5 – 8: CAPE TOWN
After your morning game drive you will be driven to the airstrip for a charter flight back to OR Tambo International Airport in time to check in for your domestic flight to Cape Town (flight fare not included).
A member of the team will be waiting for you in Cape Town and will drive you to the elegant Cape Grace Hotel at the famed V&A Waterfront. You will spend three nights in a one bedroom suite at the Cape Grace on a bed and breakfast basis.
Your Cape Town adventure will include a half-day walking tour of the city with guide Alyson Riches. Explore the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens or browse the local gift shops and art galleries for a souvenir. Savor true Cape style hospitality with a three course Cape cuisine dinner in a private home, hosted by a local family. Soar over spectacular Cape scenery on a helicopter tour of the magnificent wine-lands, stopping in Franschoek or Stellenbosch for lunch. Spend a day on a guided tour in a private vehicle, driving up the scenic coast to Hermanus for an exceptional whale watching safari.
DAY8: DEPARTURE
You will be collected at the Cape Grace Hotel and chauffeured to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.

Domestic flight tariffs have not been included as it is our experience that it is more cost effective to book the domestic flights as an add-on to the international flights. However, should you like a comparison, please request this at the time of booking.
Please note: Due to the increasing global cost of oil, fuel levies on scheduled and private flights as well as road transfers, may increase at any given moment. As this is not a lodge charge, this cost will unfortunately be passed onto your guest.
Validity periods as specified below. Should a booking fall over two rate periods, we reserve the right to re-quote.
There is a minimum 5 night stay requirement at the Cape Grace Hotel between 19 December 2009 and 05 January 2010. Please contact us for alternative arrangements.
